Description

Urban Oasis. A residence that transforms everyday life into a holiday experience.

On the outskirts of Padua, in a recently developed residential area, this modern home seeks to create an oasis of relaxation in close contact with nature.

Team Architettura has designed Casa GB, a residence that interprets the language of modern architecture through the use of materials, finishes, components, and furnishings selected to establish an authentic and continuous dialogue between domestic living and the surrounding natural environment.

The house is developed on two levels: one entirely above ground, accommodating the living area, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms; and one fully underground, housing the garage, a refrigerated wine cellar, a laundry room, and a small wellness area. This choice stems from the desire to create a pure, compact, and clearly defined volume, capable of conveying a sense of greater spaciousness while integrating harmoniously with the outdoor spaces.

All the rooms above-ground level overlook the beautiful swimming pool, enhancing the visual connection between the house and the greenery that surrounds the entire structure.

The garden becomes the true visual protagonist, enjoyable from every interior space, and hosts the outdoor Atmosphera collections. By the pool, the Typhoon table and Lodge chairs create a warm and welcoming setting for convivial moments. A little further on, the 9.0 sofa, with the low table from the same collection and the Lodge side table, offers moments of intimate relaxation thanks to its generous proportions and modular design. Finally, the Panama sunbeds guide the gaze toward the elegant swimming pool.

The outdoor furniture establish a sensory relationship between nature and design, creating a harmonious continuity between indoors and outdoors and shaping a contemporary residence that interprets modern living through minimalism, balance, and elegance.

The choice of finishes and tactile materials—such as clay, resins, wood, and teak, used in both indoor and outdoor furnishings—revolves around the intention to strengthen the deep connection with nature from which we come from. A reminder of our origins that intertwines with the present, while embracing our contemporary way of inhabiting and experiencing spaces.
