Lodge Craggy Range

New Zealand

Description

Set beneath the ridgeline of Te Mata Peak, where the land opens toward the Tukituki River, the Lodge Craggy Range carries a quiet sense of permanence.

The building is shaped by its surroundings, held together by a long-standing commitment to place, the region of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.

The Lodge sits comfortably within the landscape – vineyards, contours, and light – and follows the natural logic of the land. Views are uninterrupted, transitions are gentle, and each space feels connected to what surrounds it.

Outdoor areas unfold as extensions of the architecture: each zone is positioned with intent, oriented to light, outlook, and the natural flow of the day.

Beyond the larger gathering spaces, the lodge also allows room for quieter moments. Covered terraces create smaller zones of retreat, places to sit with morning light or simply enjoy the landscape without interruption. Here, the Pipe armchairs by Atmosphera, defined by warm timber detailing, slender framing, and generous cushions, fully support moments of relaxation and pause.
